ABOUT OUR CAUSE
This event is in memory of “Oreo” tennis pro who taught many Key Biscayne residents. He was the son of Virginia Lobo and Aurelio Portuondo, Betty C. Portuondo long time associate's husband. Oreo died of Cancer in 2018. All proceeds will go for Tennis Scholarships for children who don’t have the means to attend the Arraya Tennis Academy in Key Biscayne and to the League against Cancer (Liga contra el Cancer).
The Tournament is for both A (advanced) and B (intermediate) category players. If you wish to participate as a player, your entry donation will be $25.00 person or $50.00 per team. There will be prizes for participants. It will be held in KBTA (Key Biscayne Tennis Assoc.), a public Tennis facility a non-profit located at the Crandon Golf Course.
